Crazy that it's totally the end of the year, right? Wow! This year has flown right on by! I'm excited that yet another year is coming though!

Anyway, so as I mentioned earlier, I will be making a few changes to BTA Designs. One is the pricing. There will be more options while you still get a low, low price! :) I would also like to focus a little more on designing announcements/invitations/cards/etc. I love designing, and want to do more of it. I also have a new blog in the works, that shouldn't be too much longer until it's up and running! YAY! I am also going to make an effort to make my blog a little more personal. I want you as potential clients to be able to get a feel of who I am as a photographer. I will get started with that by posting a little something personal....

I am an aunt to SEVEN adorable little rug-rats. (With two more on the way! YAY!) The most recent came in as a pair about two weeks ago. My oldest sister Shari had TWIN BOYS! Talk about a shock when we all first found out she was having twins! Sure enough, a few (lot) weeks later, we have two little boys. However, Shari, her husband and now three children don't live anywhere close to us (Georgia!) so we only get to see pictures of the cuties. What else is an aunt to do than create a tri-fold birth announcement to not only show off her adorable nephew, but to also add another design to her portfolio! Here are the little cuties and their big sister! I miss them, and I am currently taking donations to get me a flight out to Georgia to take their baby/family picturs! (hehe, jk, though it would be fun....:)

So...I've been kinda slacking on the blog, so I thought I would leave this bit of holiday cheer for now. My hubby has to work tomorrow night (sad, I know!) so I will try and get more of this shoot, plus more of the Sanders family. I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!

Also, just a little thought...I got Jessie & Kelly's wedding announcements back. They are double sided, and I LOVE them!! I would HIGHLY recommend paying a little extra to get printing on the back. (It's not a lot extra. Even if you just put something simple on the back). I will post what they look like later on...And on that note. All of the 5x7 single sided announcements on my website can be changed into double sided.

So, I just wanted to let my viewers out there know about some changes I am going to be making over the next little while. I have a new blog in the works (yes again! ha, but I love it, so hopefully you will too!) Plus I am going to be making changes in my pricing. I just want to give my clients a few more options, while at the same time keeping my prices affordable. I will speak more on this later when I have more time, but just wanted to make everyone aware of that! :)

Second thing, I want to have some contests where my viewers can have the chance to win things from BTA Designs, discounts, cards/announcements/invitations, etc. However, I don't know how many viewers I actually have...so....if you are a regular, or just a blog stalker, leave a comment on this post letting me know you're interested. I believe my comments allow anyone, but if you aren't able to comment, send me an email, and I will put you in there. I had some great ideas for contests, so I'm hoping that everyone will comment...Let all your friends know as well!!! Meet Ana and Ted.

They met here at USU, both were athletes (well, Ana still plays on the USU women's basketball team). They met hanging out with friends, but it was Ana who finally took the initiative to give Ted a call (or text), and the rest is history. What a fun couple these two are. I enjoyed shooting their engagements. There were so many to choose from, so there are lots! Thanks you guys!!

Remember this cute little guy? Well, now you get to see where he gets his cuteness from! Meet the Brown family. I know Christina's sister Felicia (one of the nicest people I've ever met), and she referred Christina to me (and she is just as nice as her sister!) Anyway. I enjoyed this shoot and chasing little "J" all around. He wasn't as willing to do the group shots, but I think I was still able to get some good ones. Thanks for letting me do your photos!! ENJOY!

These pictures were all taken in my hometown of Cokeville, Wyoming. In all the 18 years that I lived there, I never imagined the beautiful possibilities that area had to offer. I drove by all these locations a thousand times and never thought twice. Now, I wish I could take all my brides and grooms back there to do all our shoots! :) Of course, it did help to have a GORGEOUS bride who was incredibly easy to photograph! Thanks for your patience with me Vi. I loved working with you!!

I totally love this shot. What a trooper Vi was to climb on that wall in heels and a dress!

So, I am gone today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday), and I wanted to leave you with some pictures from recent shoots. I am off to state volleyball in Provo, so wish us luck!

Alright...so finally...I get to do a long post of these guys! Meet Austin and Violet. Vi and I have known each other since forever! Our families were good friends, so we had many adventures together camping and going on family trips! We also played high school sports together, and spent many long bus rides together talking about various things (Burlington boys...HA!), going on random road trips, etc. etc.

Anyway...my point is....Vi is an awesome person. I have ALWAYS admired and looked up to her and I am so happy that she has found the love of her life! Austin seems like a great guy, and I'm glad they have each other!! Thanks guys for letting me shoot your engagements! I hope you love them!!

I shot this little boy before I did an engagement and bridal session with Vi and Austin, so I figured that I should do this one first since I'm sure his mommy would also love to see what was captured yesterday.

So, I've decided to start wishing my past weddings happy anniversaries! Especially since most of them are my close friends. Aub, Buck, sorry I missed your 1 year. I will give you a double on your 2 year! :) But...

Dev and Linds were married in the Salt Lake Temple on September 20, 2007. They are true blue BYU cougars, having the time of their life living in Provo and going to school... (haha, I think it's supposed to be true blue Aggies, but I'm changing it since I'm not an Aggie fan! go figure since I live in Logan...) and from the sounds of it, married life for them so far has been awesome. I wish you both the very best, and I can't wait for you to start having babies!! (can I say that?! :)

Lindsay & Devin's Wedding Day

As you can see from this first picture it was a BEAUTIFUL day for a wedding. Their pictures turned out beautifully! They looked so happy and so in love, and that just makes the picture 10 times better! Thanks Linds and Dev for letting us shoot your wedding! :)

There were so many like this one below that were absolutely gorgeous. You could just see how in love they are!

I couldn't decide between the next two...Love them both!

Here is their cute little cake. I didn't get many shots at the reception, whereas I had other duties to attend to, but I did get this one of the cake that I love.

Here is the actual wedding day. We took a ton more pictures, mostly family, but still a few of just the bride and groom. They had so much family support there. We got so many good shots!

I love watching the bride and groom while there is so much hustle and bustle going on around them. They are so happy and in their own little world, a photographer can capture some beautiful pictures without them even knowing!

These two are such a cute couple. I have known Adam my entire life (, but Shawna I met on the day of this shoot. They were so much fun, and totally fit together. They came down the day before they got married, so we felt no rush. It was a very hot and BRIGHT day, but they had so many good pictures, it was hard to choose just a few...which is why there are so many of them, and this is just from the first day. I hadn't realized how many there were of them kissing, but hey, they're nearly-newly-weds. It's okay! :)

I LOVED their announcements. I sat down with Lindsay and we designed them, and they turned out so cute! Here is just the photo part of it. The actual announcement part is printed on vellum paper the size of the middle picture. It covers the middle picture and is tied together with blue ribbon. SO CUTE!!!

Lindsay and I have been friends forever. One day I was chatting with her and she says "Bre, I'm gonna need your help." My response, (immediately knowing what she was talking about), "ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?" I didn't even know she was dating anyone! But she met Devin and immediately fell in love. He is so much fun, and we had such a good time taking pictures. There was my mom, her mom, me, those two, and Lindsay's younger sister along for the adventure. It was a beautiful day, and all the pictures turned out so good!

So, the big day finally arrived. Aubrey and Buck got married on a Friday (Friday the 13th to be exact), but we went down the day before to do all of their pictures around the temple so we wouldn't have to rush on their wedding day. It was so nice. I highly recommend doing formals BEFORE the actual wedding day if you aren't superstitious about the groom seeing the bride in her dress before the big day. (If you are superstitious, the day of is a great day too! :) It was a really windy day, but their pictures turned out so cute! Love you guys!!

The images on this site are not edited, and the site downgrades the quality, so if they look a little unclear, it's just the site. I also ask that you do not save any of these images to your computer, make prints, or post them to any facebook, myspace, blog, etc. When you get the CD of edited images with the copyright, you are more than welcome to do so. I also forgot my model release forms, which pretty much asks you for permission to let me post your pictures on my blog, facebook, website, etc. I will attach the release form in this email, and if you're okay with my doing that, just electronically sign it (type your name and date it) Or, just let me know in an email saying I have your permission to use the pictures for advertising.
